Origins of Self Empty Origins of Self

Kylee: The sounds were muffled around Nagi, and someone had reached down and was poking at her side. "Hey..." a voice spoke. "Hey!" more urgently. "Hey!!!" they cried, and a flash of light flashed before Nagi;s closed eyes. "Not good.." the voice said again, with a slightly familiar tinge. "I am gonna move her.. she doesnt look familiar.. and with the day Tanal is having she will be as good as dead." Hands rough and callused form battle hooked around her upper arms and lifted her easily and she felt herself raised off the cool stone ground then plopped unceremoniously on a semi soft bed "Hey.. can u open your eyes yet?"

averylynne1: Nagi lay there for a moment slightly dazed. she was confused. she had been talking with Soren then she had fallen asleep. everything smelled different, unfamiliar, and now she had been "rescued" by someone, but rescued from what? her brow scowled and she slowly opened her eyes, prepared to find her self in situation where she might have to fight. her body now tensed and she felt muscles tighten and flex.

me: When she opened her eyes, a young female demon sat lounging in a chair before her, in skin tight blood red and black armor used in the field, though it seemed slightly off from what she had known. Her hair was intense sky blue, and cut short, falling in spikes to her shoulders as if windblown. Her golden eyes glittered with curiosity as she glanced at Nagi who was now awakening. She must be no more than 14,000years old, very young to be in a full military unit. "Ah, your awake. You hungry?" the girl asked, rising to twirl the chair she sat on to face her, plopping back down in it gracefully

averylynne1: Nagi looked around quickly. there was something disturbingly familiar about this blue haired demon that she couldn't quite put her finger on. "nah, i'm good." her voice was fluid and almost emotionless as though she could careless about anything, but her instincts were running wild trying to get her bearings set. she sat up with ease, swinging her feet over the edge of the bed letting her booted feet touch the ground. she looked down, she was still in the uniform she wore pretending to be a student at the local high school to be able to spend more time with soren.

me: "Strange clothing you have there...but you don't seem to be from the outer provinces.." The girl stood up, coming only around to Nagi's chin, and that was including her hair. "Nice to meet you, the names Ryoko, Ryoko Kajishima. No one is gonna hurt you.. well unless u do something stupid. U remember where u are? the demon planet?"

averylynne1: Nagi stared at Ryoko, there was no way this girl was her mother, she was way too young, too nice. but the name, the name was spot on. "Kajishima..." it was a statement not a question. she stood up staring down at the girl. "the Demon planet? what year?" she asked looking around a room that had a familiar touch to it, this was her room, but things were in different places and the decorations were waaaaayyyyy different. definitely not her taste. she took in Ryoko's outfit. she had been about that age when she had been recruited into the Incursion squad, but the uniform looked....dated and old compared to her own

me: Ryoko responded with a year.. a year that would have made her mother only 14,000.. 4,000years before Nagi was even born.. a mere few hundred years before the death of Keiko and Reiya.. a time when the war between Keiko and Kaitryn was fierce.. a time when the shapeshifters and the demons were on the brink of war. Ryoko shook her head. "Look.. I don't know what your problem is.. but you need to get it together.. there is not time for memory lapses and weakness now.. if u cant make it on your own, I sure as hell am no gonna baby you. U gotta story u wanna go by> I gotta report this to Tanal."

averylynne1: she looked down at her again. "weakness? ha!" a familiar smile caressed her lips, a smile of a challenge, a smile of well deserved cockiness. "Tell Master Tanal whatever you wish to tell him. he has little pull in a world that struggles to keep unified."she stretched and phased into her black and silver armor suit she relaxed into the power of the suit.

me: Ryoko raised an eyebrow, then looked absolutely shocked. There was a slight spike of nervousness from her, but she did not retreat, nor back down. When she spoke, her voice was chilly. "You must have claims to big power if you can talk down to the commanding officer like that." She said flatly. Before she could utter another word, Reiya ran into the room, looking frazzled. "Nagi!" She cried, rushing to her. "We have a problem."

averylynne1: Nagi raised an eyebrow. "Reiya? you recognize me?" she was shocked to see her. she knew something was a miss for her to be back in time but have someone from the past know her was even more proof that there truly was an issue.

me: "I do... I remember hearing abotu you from Kamryn" Ryoko suddenly felt confused.. for this older demon to know her majesty.. and to have the suit of armor only allowed for Black eyed demons.. to talk casually about Tanal..this was no ordinary Demon. She was itching for a fight, but knew it would have to wait. "Lets talk momentarily.. and in private. I will see you at 0100 hours." Reiya vanished just as the door opened to the room, and a powerful aura filled the entire room. A woman who looked similar to Ryoko stood tall and proud, her long hair wild with braids, braids holding the bones of victims she had killed over the years. Her armor was pure gold, with black trimmings and inlaid with rudy red jewels. Her eyes were a deep blood red tinged with golden flames. "Ryoko.. you are dawdling. Return to your duties. I have an assignment." Ryoko bowed to the woman. "Yes mother." she said, glancing once to Nagi before leaving the room. Here she stood.. an unknown to Nagi.. a woman who her mother had never spoken about.. her grandmother.

averylynne1: Nagi simply nodded to Reiya before she vanished. she had quietly watched the small interaction between this new woman and her mother, well her child mother that was. she took in her appearance, an appearance that was, rather brutal looking. yet elegant in a barbarian manner. 'she had called her mother...that must mean...my grandmother?' her internal monologue ran rampant through her mind staring and taking in the woman that now stood before her, as well as between her and the door

me: The woman narrowed her eyes at her, smiling wide.. it was as if she could read her thoughts.. "I am called 歩乃火 Honoka. Warrior Princess of the flame. You are welcome in my home.. I sense.. a familiarity about you.. but one that I should not have known in my lifetime. You come from far away, demoness.. " Honoka;s voice was deep and husky, almost at a constant purr. "You must forgive my daughter for her stupidity. She should have killed you on sight, but I suppose that in the end she would have been the one dead if you two had battled. I am to take you to the Queen's quarters as soon as possible." The woman did not mince words, and hardly moved her body at all, form the moment she took a position in the room between Nagi and the door, and in fact in perfect alignment with all possible escape routes she had not moved an inch, even swayed on her feet to keep balance. "You name, demoness." she said not a question, nor a demand, just a solid request that could not be ignored.

averylynne1: "A familiarity, i am sure." she had already calculated all escape routes and knew that this woman had already done so aas well and she knew that if she tried to make a run for it, though she was not sure why should would want to, that this woman would be almost as fast as herself and she would not make it far before having to fight her way out. ' rules must have changed if she should had killed me on sight.' she thought to herself. "Nagi" was all she said. she was not sure if the woman would push for more of her name as well as her title, but she figured she would start out simple

me: "Well then Nagi. It is a pleasure to meet you." The woman bounced quickly between a killing edge, casual talk and perfect politeness." Ryoko had never mentioned a word about her own mother, only saying once that she had died long before Nagi's birth, a hard glint in her eyes. "I like you, Nagi. You don;t back down even when cornered, that is how a demoness should be." Honoka tossed her hair the bones and jewels in her braids clinking together in a soft melody. "You look like you have questions for me.. lets talk while I escort you to the Queen's chambers. SHe opened the door and waited for Nagi never once showing her her back, but indicating that Nagi should go first, and show her back to her as they walked, giving Honoka the upper hand..

averylynne1: "likewise." the one statement took care of two of Honoka's. she nodded that she did wish to speak to her, perhaps not questions but to talk none the less. she knew it was quite a walk to the Queen's chambers from her, she had walked them many times as a child. she moved to walk through the door able to keep an eye on Honoka without showing her her back as well. she herself was well skilled in keeping the upper hand, but she also knew that in this instance there was a doubt that either would have the upper hand, both were fairly equally matched. she would tap into her black eye powers if needed if it came down to it.

me: Honoka closed the door behind her, and Ryoko ran up to the both of them. "I finished my training, Mother." Honoka smiled. "Good girl.. did you do as I asked? for the final step?" Ryoko suddenly paused, and swallowed visibly.. "I-.." The moment Ryoko paused Honoka attacked, sending Ryoko sprawling back against the wall. "You do it, girl.. you understand me? If you don't.. I will make it three instead of two.. and I will do it myself." A glimmer of black pooled in the red depths of Honoka's eyes as she glared at Ryoko. who nodded and rose without a complaint, running back to the battle grounds. "Now where were we..? Ah yes. We are on our way to the Queen's chambers. So tell me, Nagi. How high is your count? A woman you age must easily have thousands under her belt."

averylynne1: Nagi watched the interaction and instantly knew why her mother never mentioned Honoka as well as why her mother had always been hard on her, it was beaten, literaly, into her. she had thought to meddle in the situation but decided that if she did, who knows what would have happened. she could of found herself in a large battle against her grandmother as well as her mother if her mother sided with this woman. it would be 2 against 1. she could handle it but if she got carried away and killed her mother, there was a possibility that she herself would never have been born. "72 planets of 2 billion plus on each." it was a nice number for her age but yet there was little pride in it

me: Honoka nodded, looking thoughtful. "Not bad for someone of your caliber." she said offhandedly, continuing to walk the dim hallways towards the Queen's chambers. She stopped suddenly and pulled a few bones out of her hair tossing them into the air, letting them land at her feet. A pool of blood formed around them, swirling with mysterious colors. "I thought as much.. " she turned to stare into Nagi's eyes and smiled wide. "it is a pleasure to meet you, granddaughter." she said with a true hint of pride and happiness in her rough voice. "You have done well raising yourself in the hectic days of our planets future." she knelt down and retrieved the bones, tying them back in her hair. "I can no longer accompany you to the chambers.. but you already know the way.. " her eyes suddenly held a heaviness, a dark sadness that penetrated to any who looked into her eyes. "Go.. and fulfill your role as was meant.. I will do the same." With that Honoka vanished, with her the warmth of her power, and the hall was silent.

Nagi watched Honoka closely. She had heard of Demon Witches but had never met one herself. Now she was and this one was of her family, a family she knew nothing of. She half smiled to herself noting that it was true that each great demon had their own way of remembering those they had killed; Honoka had her bones and she herself had bits of identifying clothing of each.

She watched the blood ooze out of thin air around the bones. she herself could not read what Honoka was seeing but knew that their conversation and meeting would be cut short. It was when Honoka vanished that she found herself with many questions she wished to ask of her. she growled low in her chest at the sudden disappearance of the one person she knew could answer questions for her. She had seen the sadness that loomed in her eyes before she departed, that led to more questions.

She turned and continued on the long path to the queen's quarters. she stopped in front of the door and took in the plainness of it. in her day this door had been replaced after a fire and the new door was inlaid with extravagant jewels, this one only had a few dim jewels in the shape of the demon sign for Queen. She sighed and knocked on the door.

me: The door immediately opened to Nagi, who would be able to see a dim room lit with hundreds of candles, a fireplace and oil lamps. The room was almost stifling hot sue to the multiple flames, but a window let a cool breeze come through, mixing herbs and fragrances in the hot room to an almost heady cloud of smell. "Thank you for coming, Nagi." Reiya said, seated in a chair behind a desk, legs crossed, arms folded neatly in her lap. "I trust you did not recieve much trouble from...?" She left the sentence to hang, and did not speak Honoka's name aloud

averylynne1: "Honoka was no issue." she said as she entered the room allowing the door to close behind her. she felt a slightly relaxed by the fragrance. "what did you need?" she asked leaning against the door she had just come through. she didn't meet her eyes, she had a lot on her mind. she wanted to know more about Honoka

me: Reiya's eyes narrowed at the mention of Honoka. "Nagi.. I know a lot is going on, and you just arrived.. but.. we do not speak that name aloud." Reiya said with a clear and deep voice. "If you don';t understand why it is best you ask.... yourself. But lets leave that for now. I want you to know that we are working on a way to get you home.. and to bring Keiko back here. You may be stuck in this time period for a while though. I know you know your history.. and you know how dangerous it is outside of the palace now.. I will not keep you confined by any means.. this is as much your home as it is mine. I only ask if you leave the palace that you take someone with you. DO you have any issues with this request?"

averylynne1: she was suddenly more confused than ever. Honoka had never been mentioned in any history books and apparently the mention of her name was forbidden. "i have no issue with that at all." she looked up from the floor. "why do we not speak her name?" she asked watching Reiya carefully

me: Reiya merely reached out to take a drink from the wine glass in front of her. "As I said, it is better to ask... yourself." She rose then and went to the door, opening it for Nagi. "She is here to pick you up.. I will speak to you again later." Honoka was waiting outside of the room as Reiya had said, and had changed from her battle gear into a tight black and red body suit, adorned with bones and jewels her hair was tied back with elaborate braids and layers of spikes. She lounged easily against the stone wall and smiled when Nagi appeared. "It seems your meeting has finished. Let me take you to your room" She said, beginning to walk in the direction of the royal living quarters

averylynne1: "tell me something Honoka." she said as she walked with her. Reiya had given her a riddle, one she was not one to get herself caught up in riddles.she phased back into her school uniform and slid her hands into her pockets

me: "Something? I don't respond well to half assed questions. If you are curious or want to know just spit it out.. I am not one to weave lies and tales, " As she walked with Nagi the bones clinked in her hair and clothing, almost creating a melodic sound.. almost as if the voices of her victims were singing a mournful song. "Here we are." She stopped in front of a room a few doors down from the King and Queen's bed chambers. "This is yours for your stay here." She opened the door and waited, anticipating a question form Nagi or an invitation to join her in her new room for more talk.

averylynne1: "what is your actual role here?" she asked waving for Honoka to join heer as she walked into her quarters. she felt no fear or care to turn her back on the woman now. she knew she could easily dodge any attack if this woman presented on. "we are family after all. yet i know nothing about you. tell me a little about yourself. whatever you are comfortable to share." her voice teetered on the edge of recklessness and control. she hadn't gotten as far as she had in life by not testing the waters when she had the chance.

me: Honoka came in behind her and closed the door, settling into an empty armchair. "I told you that it isn't safe to turn your back on someone, Nagi.. especially thinking that you can what was it? That you could 'could easily dodge any attack if this woman presented on'. She smiled and motioned for her to sit. "Though I suppose it is half true in a way."
"As for my role.. well.. I am simply the untouchable. The one Demon born in a generation who has so much potential and power that they are marked as non existent to prevent chaos and rebellion from the current leaders. "

averylynne1: she raised an eyebrow at the woman before her. she sighed and sat on the edge of the bed. "born each generation? i have never heard of such a thing. i don't think it was passed down after your generation." she looked around the room. it was as exquisite as her room had been but unused feeling and almost started to feel like a prison for some reason. she eyed Honoka out of the corner of her eye for a moment. she was starting to feel on edge but refused to back down or away from the woman before her. Reiya had said to ask herself why Honoka was not mentioned but she couldn't find the answer

me: Honoka smiled even wider. "Of course you wouldn't.. we are unmentioned. Even the King and Queens do not always know.. Reiya and Keiko are special because of the Black eyed nature.. it is something us untouchables share with Black Eyed demons.. though not in the same extent. That is why I can tell you about us, Nagi.. as you are a black eyed demon yourself. " She rose from the chair and walked to the window, always keeping one side facing Nagi at all times. The sad look returned to her eyes once more. "Your Mother will have long forgotten about me in your time.. which is not strange considering I never existed to her. I am a Demoness Witch as you saw.. but not only that.. I am the high priestess.. My magic is what protects this planet.. I hold all knowledge within my blood.. I gain knowledge through each kill.. I was never supposed to have a child.. but I did.. and I do not regret it. Your Grandfather... Ryoko's father was of royal blood.. a branch of Keiko's family. You are more closely related to Keiko than you think. But my powers are dangerous.. forbidden.. and thus erased from time and memory itself to protect the Demons. Nd that, Nagi is why you have never known me in your time."
Honoka felt the edge in Nagi.. the desire to push.. and was willing to let her.. if the girl had appeared here.. then it was time to make her move

averylynne1: Nagi found it strange that even though this woman didn't really know her she was being rather open with her and that seemed strange, especially after the scene she had seen between her and Ryoko. "i see. yet technically the Council of Color is also forbidden. Black Eyed Demons were supposed to have never existed. It was the magic from the Demon Witches mixed with the energy of the planet it self that we even exist. the magic we posses is unpredictable and nearly impossible to control. so why were we accepted and not you? there is no true logical reason. there is an enormous amount of magic in the universe and not all of it can be contained, known or even touched. it is our magic that separates the Demons from other damned creatures." she knew far more than most would have even expected someone so young to even know. she stood and walked up next to Honoka and looked out the window allowing the gentle breeze to caress her face. her eyes flashed briefly black as she allowed the wind to fuel the power inside of her.

me: Honoka turned to face her, looking her directly into the eyes.. her blood red eyes began to swirl with black pools. "If us Witches blended with magics from the planet to create black eyed demon powers.. would you not think that the existence of one who created to very Kings and Queens who lead you would be feared? We are the mothers.. the true mothers of this planet.. and so we are revered and feared as Goddesses.. " She put a hand on Nagi's shoulder. "You were never supposed to come here Nagi.. and there is only one way for you to get home... and I am the only one who can help you.. but... it will not be pleasant.. and you have to make the choice yourself."

averylynne1: "you as a witch, should know that everything happens for a reason. i was supposed to come here for some reason. to learn or see something."she looked her in the eye again. "why were you so upset earlier in the hall?" she asked. she was not one to normally question others feelings as she herself was secretive but she felt that perhaps Honoka needed someone to talk to. she stood tall and un wavering with eyes locked with the woman who was her grandmother. she had found out two extraordinary things in just one day. her grandmother was a Demon Witch, an untouchable, and she was related to Keiko closer than she had ever thought possible. it explained her attraction to Kamryn since her soul was that of Reiya.

me: "I am old...Minagi.. very.. very old.. and have lost and sacrificed everything.. for the good of the Demon planet. It is a long and lonely road I have taken.. and there is still much of the pathway remaining." She turned and for the first time had her back facing Nagi as she approached the chair again, she ran her nails across the back of it absently. "It is true.. you must have come here for a reason.. I am upset that you are here.. that you have been able to witness me in a past you were never supposed to touch.. but I am happy to have met you." She faced her again with a smirk, here eyes back to being a deep blood red. "You are a formidable woman.. with great powers.. even more that are just waiting to find you. But.. to find them you must settle your soul and hearts desires.. you must decide on your own path like I did.. and you must fully accept your Black eyed demon powers. Any more questions form me curios cat?" she asked her with a teasing tone, though it was not mocking.

averylynne1: Nagi remained at the window. she turned to face Honoka completely and leaned back against the window sill with arms crossed over her chest. "My heart's desire? You mean Kamryn and Soren." she sighed and almost mentally kicked herself. she had fallen in love with two women, two women who would lead her down 2 separate paths in life. one could be her doom and the other could let her grasp all her power. she was old enough that she should have already claimed her mate but yet she had chosen to remain with the Incursion squad long after her post was ended. she had chosen the life of a pirate, of a destroyer and now her heart was being torn in two and she would have to make the most difficult choice in her life. it was here that her guard dropped to almost non existent. her heart was where she had most trouble then anywhere in her life. she growled under her breath. "why where we not supposed to have met?" her voice just barely above a whisper, she let her voice drift to Honoka's ears on the wind

me: Honoka remained silent for a long time before answering. "Because.. I am sleeping in your time.. a deep sleep... and now that we have met I will awaken once more... it is.. always difficult for a Witch to exist with a black eyed demon.. it will be even harder with you, your brother and the sleeping powers in Kaitryn to contend with. I lied by the way.." she added with a grin, sitting down in the chair at last. "Witches are not born in each generation... there has only ever been one... me." she let that admission hang in the air between them.. let the words take their time to slink into Nagi's brain.

averylynne1: Nagi sighed. she knew to never trust anyone's word when it was too freely given. the admission that Honoka had been the only witch to have been she knew instantly she had been around a very long time, since at least the time of the first black eyed demon. "why?" was all she said. she wanted to know how it was so hard to be awake when a black eyed demon was alive. did they pull against each other's magics too much? the answers to her questions were leaving her with more questions. she was starting to get slightly frustrated.

me: Honoka laughed for the first time since they had met, a deep and throaty laugh that made her jewels and bones clink. "Of course.. our magics do pull at one another..it is hard for those who have come after to be so close to their source of magic.. think of it in terms of vampires and their creators.. they are always felt.. there is always a sense of loss of control.. but I am not the leader.. the children of this planet that grow are.. I am merely a woman who happened to get the luck of the draw and be born a witch.. the witch.. " she could sense the unease within Nagi.. and narrowed her eyes. "It is not me you should worry about Nagi.. I am a constant.. I have always been and always will be.. not just the Witch but your grandmother.. your family. You may find it strange that I am open to you but I trust you... I can sense the goodness in your heart.. and the doubts that hover there form the years of killing that eventually turned into a mindless filler of time for you.. you will never admit it.. but you feel older than you are.. no surprise considering you have my blood in you. Now... answer me.. do you wish to return home to your time now or later? Keiko.. is not in the position to make the right choices now.. she is too enamored with Kamryn... it is all Mirabella can do to keep them from consummating a mating " ritual. Honoka knew she was being unfair to Nagi.. brushing her off slightly.. but the time was not right to dwell on this.. they would have much more time in the future to talk and understand one another.

averylynne1: She looked out the window again looking down on the sparring arena, an area that had seemed to have never changed. she felt the wind again. she knew what the right thing was to do. and even though she felt as though she would be leaving behind the one person with all the answers she knew that the balance was greater than any desire of her own. she had to mentally agree with her that she did feel older than she was. the fighting and blood-lust never left her, to this day it still pooled deep in her. "to maintain the balance of the universe i will go now. it would not be fair to the rest to be selfish over something i had never known and wouldn't have known if i hadn't woken up here." she turned to look at Honoka again. she felt her own power rising inside of her. the desire of the blackness inside her wanting to play with the other power in the room. she knew it was not a good idea to play such a dangerous game with this other woman. she let her magic lick in the back of her mind, the magic on a dangerous edge of controlled and released. she liked the feeling of the constant balance game she played inside herself. a smile spread on her face as she felt it bounce inside her.

me: "Oh? It seems you have made a choice.. and with your magic so eager to play.. this will make things much faster for the both of us in getting you home. Tell me Nagi.. what is your choice? And then tell me.. what you heart truly desires."

averylynne1: "yes i will go." she was confused slightly with her last request. "what do you mean?'

me: "Just because you made a choice doesn't mean that it is what your heart truly desires. Tell me, Granddaughter.. what do you want> Who do you love? Who would you pick if you could have either of them.." She smiled softly and winked playfully, though there was a dark undertone. "Who would I tell?"

averylynne1: she felt her heart jump. who did she love. she loved both. but she wasn't sure if it was the black eyed demon soul mate attraction that drew her to Kamryn or the non black eyed demon soul that pulled towards Soren. "how do you expect me to answer that?"

me: "I expect you to be able to soon." She said in a serious voice. "If you can't.. then you are not qualified to be a black eyed demon.. and you are not qualified to be King." The soft gentle tone of Honoka's voice had vanished, replaced with the harsh tone she had used with Ryoko. "I am being serious with you Nagi.. if your heart... and your choice are at odds... but you have not come to accept it.. if you do not know your true hearts desire.. you will never be a true black eyed demon."

averylynne1: had Keiko gone through something like this before. she growled under her breath. she was not liking the tone that this woman was suddenly giving her. then her rage slipped from her control for a brief moment. "you will not take Kamryn away from me!!!! take the black eyed powers if you must, take it all but don't you DARE take her away from me!" her fangs had extended and her black aura had flared up around her. she was furious, the beast was begging for a fight for a true challenge, but Nagi herself really didn't wish to tango with this woman.

me: Honoka remained quite calm. "Kamryn? Her name slips from your lips so easily.. you are angry and frustrated... good. I will not take your powers, Nagi.. in fact.. I will open them up completely to you. " She rose from the chair and approached her, standing before her with the waves of her black aura brushing against the bones in her hair. "Now.. tell me... what do you desire... who.. do you desire.. which one.. do you desire demoness... who is your mate?" her voice was not menacing but cajoling.. tickling at Nagi to speak the answer, though there was no magical push.

averylynne1: she snarled at her. almost snapping at her. she felt the beast tightening its grip on her. "why would you do such a thing for someone you don't even know?" she asked watching her movements closely. "the one i want the one i need wont have anything to do with me, a dog and cat, animals that are natural enemies. but i cant go a day without her crossing my mind. and what difference does it make that her name slips so easily?" she was more frustrated then she could ever remember being. she dropped slightly into a defensive stance, not knowing what to expect from Honoka.

me: Honoka stood still before her, seeming to feel no fear from this form Nagi was shifting into. "I do know you Nagi... I am the Witch.. I know all that was, all that is and all that will be. I wish to help you.. but I am pushing you to your limits now.. to figure out what you heart desires.. to help you find your mate. Your powers are so out of control because of the battle within yourself.. of course you will not be able to control your abilities.. look at you, wanting to defend or fight against me with the mere utterance of choosing Kamryn or Soren. I will push you Nagi.. as is befitting a woman of your stature.. because you can take it.. " She raised a hang in the air and put it to her lips, biting down. Blood dripped from the wound and landed on the ground, mingling with Nagi;s black aura.. the blood grew and spread, almost forming another aura around Nagi.. filling her with a deep dark power, that seemed to give her more access to the animal instincts inside of her. "I ask you again Black eyed demon.. who... is.. your.. mate? I will not take Kamryn from you.. but Keiko is trying to... almsot succeeded. How much longer are you going to dally around?"

averylynne1: Nagi hissed as she felt the second aura and felt the power of it. it was intense, she felt the animal inside her trying to burst forward. she paused suddenly and stood upright. it was the one phrase that had gripped her, had shaken her to her core. Keiko, her ancestor was trying to claim Kamryn as her own. something Nagi wanted. she reclaimed complete control of her powers and was able to let it all mingle with the aura that Honoka had wrapped around her. "Kamryn Axel."

me: "Then go, Demoness.. and claim her." With a wave of her hand Nagi vanished and appeared outside of Kamryn Axel's home.. the weather was cold.. and the lights were on inside.

averylynne1: Nagi wavered slightly where she stood. she had not expected the suddenness of it all. she felt complete and whole. she looked around realizing whose house she stood in front of. retentively she walked up to the door and knocked. unsure of what she would say or do or if this was something she should be doing

me: Georgia opened the door and stared at Nagi.. who still had a dark black aura around her and glowing deadly black eyes. "Um... " she began stepping back from the door slightly defensively. "Kamryn... is not here... she was taken away for protection from Keiko.."

averylynne1: Nagi sighed, almost deflated. " i see. thank you." her aura faded and her eyes returned to their normal blazing red. she turned and looked up at the stars. it seemed no matter how hard she tried Kamryn was always just slipping through her grasp

me: Georgia felt the battle presence vanish and sighed."She..she's here.." she began softly. "I just.. I couldn't let you in looking like THAT you know. She's in her room."

averylynne1: Nagi turned and looked at Georgia. she had to give her props. She had actually stood up to her when she was in a form that most would have just bent over backwards for. "thank you Georgia." she smiled softly at her and moved past her towards Kamryn's room. she knocked softly on it

me: "Come in" Kamryn said, though her voice sounded tired and weary. WHen Nagi entered she lay on the bed on her back, staring up at the ceiling. She wore a simple pair of black sweat pants and a white tank top, her hair looked like it had not been brushed in days and lay in waves and crazy curls all around her shoulders on the bed. She sat up when she saw her in surprise. "Nagi? You.. you're back?"

averylynne1: "Kamryn, you don't look so good." she smiled at her and stepped only a few more feet into the room. not wanting to impose too much. she could tell kamryn had been through a lot recently. "just got back."

me: "Life has just been.. interesting." If she had to deal with any more demon women week long sex sessions she did not think she could work a day job anymore. "You look.. pretty ok yourself. " She motioned for her to come in and sit on the bed. "If you are here.. it must mean that.. she left." There was an obvious pause before Keiko's name.. and then Kamryn left it out..

averylynne1:"that is my guess." her voice was soft and she moved to sit next to Kamryn. she wrapped a friendly arm around Kamryn letting her lean against her

me: Kamryn sat at ease next to her, and leaned against her. "You seem.. different."

averylynne1: "what do you mean?" she wrapped her tail around her lightly not wanting make her feel trapped

me: "I don;t know.. maybe everything is just weird.. I still feel really hazy.. like I am caught in a dream.. after Keiko.." she paused. "After what happened with Keiko I don't know if it was a dream or not.. it was all so fuzzy.. and you just seem.. I don't know... not pissed off." she smiled her usual Kamryn smile and ran her hands over her tail that was wrapped around her.

averylynne1: "Kamryn..." it was obvious she had something important to say. "i...i don't know if it is too soon after your recent ordeal but....i...i came back for...for ...y....you." she whispered the last part she tightened her grip with her tail giving a gentle squeeze

me: Kamryn went very quiet and looked at her seriously. "You aren't trying to mess with me are you? I mean.. we.. did a few things but you never.. seemed to really be serious.. do you really like me?" she asked.

averylynne1: "I l...l...love...you Kamryn. I need you." she was still whispering. and for once was actually afraid, afraid to be rejected, afraid of loosing something she cared about

me: Kamryn remained quiet but wrapped her arms around her, and leaned in to kiss her deeply. "I need.. a little space physically to recover form Keiko.. but I do love you too Nagi.. I really do. As much as you are a pain in the fucking ass.. you are .. there is just something abotu you.. I am happy that you love me too."

averylynne1: Nagi felt relieved. she smiled. "i understand." she knew Kamryn would have to deal with what had happened, or almost happened. she pulled her back to her letting their lips meet before she deepened the kiss holding her smaller frame to her own body

Kamryn smiled in the kiss and held Nagi closer to her. The woman was so much larger than she was, but she had never felt awkward about this. She could almsot feel the heat radiating from her lips.. and it felt so good. "Do you want to stay the night?" She asked snuggling against her.

Post  Nagi Thu Nov 03, 2011 11:58 am

Nagi felt something deep inside her opening and expanding. a warmth she had never felt cascaded through her body. she smiled as she felt Kamryn relax into her. "I love you Kammy but i can not promise that you would never get hurt. I am a demon, Hier to a throne of savagery. But i will always protect you, and support you.i will not leave you." she whispered delicately into Kamryn's ear. she knew that Kamryn needed to know the type of situation she was willingly entering into. Nagi was a killer, a very good killer at that. it was her nature, her life prior to meeting Kamryn. she had lived a long time and traveled a long way, into the far depths of space where humans could only begin to dream of. she had seen things and done things that would send most beings into a fit of insanity. but here she was, holding in her arms a frail being, one that could easily live as long or longer then she herself, but was not as solidly built like the near indestructableness of the demons and one so very young. the one she loved over all else, the one she would gladly give her life for.

"i would love to stay with you tonight." she lightly let her lips brush Kamryn's as she pulled her closer to her again. she gently laid down on the bed, head on a plush pillow and delicately pulled Kamryn down with her. some how these couple moments with Kamryn had let her momentarily forget all that had happened that day. she had woken on the demon planet, far enough into the past that her own mother was a child, had met her grandmother and found out she was actually blood relatives with Kieko. Could she let herself love this deeply, this carelessly with all that she knew? she was dangerous and now that she knew her bloodline and the power behind it she could be an even larger threat to others and Kamryn was the last person she wanted to hurt.

She still loved Sorren but the pull to her, the intensity of her love was not as strong as it was for Kamryn. she hoped that Sorren would understand this and understand that she still cared for her and would be there for her even though she was set to spend what was left of her life with Kamryn.

she smiled at Kamryn. she had chosen Kamryn to be her mate. It still had not been set yet as they had not truly consummated the mate-ship. but she would wait until Kamryn was ready for it. once she had truly claimed her they were attached for eternity. Had Honoka been serious about awakening her true powers once she had claimed her mate? there were questions again. she was tired of having questions, she was normally the one in control and suddenly she no longer was.

Kamryn smiled at hearing Nagi speak words of love to her. it was very different from what she was used to hearing from the Demon. Her mind was not made up per say.. and she was still in a foggy state.. not really feeling like herself.. but the pull to the woman was undeniable. Another day would arrive when kamryn would wake up, feeling shocked at all that had happened to her.. and feel powerless.. annoyed that she was not in control.. how funny that little did these two both felt similarly.. that they were losing control over their lives.

She eased back into the comfortable sheets of her bed and looked up at Nagi as she announced she would be leaving. "I won't keep you.. we tend to end up finding one another anyway as it were.. I am always seeing you places." She said with a smirk looking back at all the times they had run into one another when Kamryn had hated the prospect of seeing her face. There was still a deep part of her that felt like fighting Nagi and the desires her heart and body felt, but she knew it would be her loss in the end.

"I know you can't promise not to hurt me.." Kamryn began sitting back up on her bed. "I appreciate you telling me that.. because love hurts..and you and I are fucked up, Nagi. We both know it.. I think in the end we will both hurt each other a lot.." It was this point that Kamryn remembered that she was now Kaitryn's soulmate.. her deep olive tanned skin visibly paled.. how the fuck was she going to get out of this one?

"I have to go do some work at the office tonight anyway.. but call me in the morning." She said, leaning forward to kiss Nagi softly. She disappeared then, appearing in kaitryn's office in her black tank and sweat pants, hair disheveled, face still pale. "We need to talk." She began, reaching her leg up to kick her office door closed behind her. There was no one on the floor this late, but force of habvbit made her do it.

Nagi watched Kamryn and listed closely. she had to agree they both were fucked up. they each carried unmentioned baggage. Each struggled with their past and their future, each living in the moment and nothing more.

Kamryn felt good in her arms, felt right. Yet something rang true that Kamryn said. They both would end up hurting each other at some point and sadly more than once for sure. But she was willing to fight to make this work, no matter what it would take. She had decided that she would give her life freely for this woman, and she was content with that thought.

"I will. definitely." Nagi smiled and once Kamryn had vanished, she too vanished but she did not go home. there was too much on her mind. she appeared on a cliff edge on a nearby mountain range the over looked all of the city. She stood there looking out at the city a million thoughts running through her mind.

Kaitryn looked up from the pile of reports she had on her desk. Most of them from the recent adventures of Keiko. things had not gone well at all in this situation. they had found it hard to control the ancient woman in the present, she had become Kamryn's soul-mate, she could not complain there but at the same time it felt wrong. Christopher Hawthorne had been called in, Mirabella Axel had been called in, and even Michael had stuck his hand in the pot.

Her eyes met Kamryn's intense gold eyes and took in her appearance. she almost laughed. she hadn't ever seen Kamryn look so....disheveled.
"what do i owe this late night visit?" she asked looking back at her paperwork. she felt the soul mate part of her trying to pull her to Kamryn. she knew she was strong enough to resist it but she also knew that deep down she wouldn't mind having Kamryn again.

Kamryn gave her an accusatory look with her golden eyes. "I know I look like I just rolled out of bed, because I did. No need to rub it in. Besides, I still know I look fine.: She said in her usual playful tone. It was always easier to use it with Kaitryn.. Boss and employee who was on teh edge of subordination, cat and mouse, enemy and friend.. it was a never ending cycle with them on the thin edge of a blade. But.. tonight.. Kamryn had to somehow put a stopper on it.

"Nagi came back." She began bluntly, figuring it was no use mincing words between them any longer.. especially with everything that had been happening lately. She suddenly remembered being trapped in this office.. heat filling the space.. the sounds of her own voice crying out in passion. WTF!!? Why was she thinking of this at a time like this? It must be the soulmate connection.. still new and strong.. she could feel the pull to Kaitryn but was fighting it, this needed to be said.

Her cheeks were slightly flushed as she continue talking. "Keiko has returned to her time.. and Nagi and I.. talked." She paused for a moment to gauge Kaitryn;s reaction. Seeing nothing but her unmovable face with no expression except her penetrating eye,s she continued. "We decided to give it a try.. her and I.. officially. So.. we need to figure out a way to get this soul mate situation taken care of."

Kaitryn looked up from her paper work again. she was starting to feel as though she never left this god forsaken building. She saw past Kamryn's cool demeanor. she knew something was on her mind. something heavy and important, something life changing. She almost felt bad for her. But pushed the thought away as she strongly believed that Kamryn had brought all her issues upon her self.

"i know she did. I felt the energy shift." she said leaning back in her chair to look at Kamryn. She looked disheveled that was for sure, and definitely as though she had just rolled out of bed, but it appeared as though she had been in this state for a few days.

Kaitryn watched her closely, still expressionless. she knew Kamryn felt the soulmate pull as well. it was incredibly strong and she commended both of them for thier ability to resist such strong magic. she understood now what it was like to have a soulmate. the constant urge to jump them, to claim them over and over again. She had purposefully kept her distance from Kamryn while Keiko was there. Even though she wanted Kamryn as hers she was not going to take advantage of the temporary soulmate situation with her. she was determined to work to make Kamryn hers'.

"Really?" she eyed her carefully. Kamryn didnt make decisions lightly. "So soon? what did she appear in your house and profess her undying love to you while you were in a hazy state and promptly agreed? sounds more like she forced you to be with her, took advantage of your current state." her voice was flat. emotionless, not forceful like normal and not weak either. it seemed as though she had nothing left, as though she were simply a shell. Yet the desire and pain shone brightly in the dark depths of her eyes. she leaned back further in her chair and slid her arms under her head and looked up at the ceiling, purposefully avoiding Kamryn's eyes.

Kamryn was silent at her reply for quite some time, but the air almost fizzled with her anger. "How.. dare you say that?" She asked in a deep husky voice brimming with irritation and..hurt. "That was what Keiko did.. if you don't remember.. Nagi did nothing of the sort. I know you have issues with her.. her and Keiko both.. but I don't need you to bad mouth Nagi for something she didn't do." Kamryn sighed and approached Kaitryn's desk. settling on it after sliding paperwork out of the way. "Don't avoid me like this.. we have an issue at hand with this..bond of ours.. and I need it to be fixed as soon as possible. I know you have the connections to make it happen." Kamryn stared straight at her, wondering why things were just.. so fucked up lately.

Things had been easier when her boss didn't want to fuck her, didn't like her.. things were different when she didn't have to love anyone, and could just do as she pleased and tease any unsuspecting female who wandered into her radar. She didn't like her life now for sure.. but she wanted to settle it down as much as possible.. she wanted to love someone and be loved in return with no hidden agendas.. and Nagi was the one... she just.. knew it. "Please Kaitryn.. don't make me beg you." She said softly, her voice losing its edge as she dropped her head, her disheveled waves falling around her shoulders and over her face, concealing the pained expression it held.

Kaitryn looked at Kamryn. She knew that Kamryn was having a hard time with all that was going on. she could see it in her eyes. she sighed.

"Okay Kamryn. I'll see what i can do. I can not promise anything but i will do my best to get everything fixed for you." she wasn't happy about letting this little edge she had with Kamryn go, but she was determined that if she was to have Kamryn she would work hard for it. she liked the strange connection to her, she got a different insight into how things were going for Kamryn, but she also knew that this had been a temporary set up to keep time from being fucked up royally for everyone.

"I appreciate this, Kaitryn. I really do." kamryn smiled her vivacious smile and sat with ease on her desk, lounging lazily along the edge. 'You are working overtime again, it seems." She said, glancing down to see what the big project was. She felt drawn to her lately.. she knew it was a lot to do with the soul mate connection.. but there had been something earlier than that.. though she was going to really have to put it behind her. She couldn't be the playgirl she used to be, and just go for whatever she wanted.. she was abotu to be in a committed relationship.. life was going to get interesting..

Kaitryn continued to look at her. She knew that she needed to help Kamryn. She was about to get herself into an interesting situation. There were already reports about a human girl having fallen in love with Noboyuki Hino, the True Prince of the Demon race and now it seems as though yet another of earth's inhabitants had fallen in Love with the Heir to the Demon race. she sighed. So much was happening ever since Nagi had come to earth. Jaqu had left the Night World to pursue a more dangerous place in the Circle, Arianna hadn't been seen or heard from since Jaqu left. Spyro had chosen a human as his mate, some daughter of a dark wizard was trying to destroy the world as it were to have it the way she desired it to be. There was restlessness all through out Night World and Kaitryn had found herself in a situation that she no longer was running the Demonology department but all most running Cupid's Arrow interference and clean up.

"there is always work to be done. Especially now. there is much unrest in the Night World as late. I am not sure if you have picked up on it yet or not. so there is much to be taken care of, some of it unfortunately we can not do anything about, even if we wanted to." she sighed again and leaned back in her chair. Leaning against the desk to talk with Kamryn was making her almost forget who she was and feel more like an animal watching it's prey before striking.

Kamryn sighed and raked her hands through her twice recently tussled hair. "I know there is a lot of shit going on now.. and that my request is.. pretty low on the list. " She twirled her body around, lifting her legs off the floor to ace Kaitryn , crossing them easily as she lounged as if it was perfectly normal for a subordinate to sit on her boss's desk. "But.. when you have the time, I would appreciate it. I can try and help with some shit.. well I guess the paper work aspect.. something tells e you won;t let me near the Hino case now that I have crossed the line." Kaitryn seemed to be staring at her now, her eyes bewitching as usual.. it made her feel.. slightly uncomfortable. A flood of memories of what had happened in this office before rushed back to her mind and she looked down, her hair falling in her face to hide the blush the crept on her cheeks. This soulmate bond was seriously making Kamryn think of the wrong things at the wrong times. "Call me if you need me for overtime," she said in what she hoped was a conversational tone, sliding off the desk, turning to head to the door.

"i'll call you if i need anything Kamryn. but get som rest for now." she smiled softly before returning to the huge stacks of paperwork. she knew she was in for another long night of paperwork. but at least it was only friday night going into a long weekend for a holiday break.

Nagi was laying on Kamryn's bed, arms tucked under head staring at the ceiling in nothing but a pair of boxers and a white tanktop. her tail twitched every so often. she had a lot to think about. the fact that she had met her grandmother, a woman she didnt even know what she had been. her mother had been sure to make sure that Nagi had never known that her grandmother had me a Demon Witch, THE Demon Witch at that. she wondered what of the bloodline from that interesting outcome would be like. was it that that had allowed for twins to be born to the royal family? a feat that had never happened before, infact there was no record of any demon having twins where both survived if at all. and why had it been that Ryoko had hid who this woman was or had been?

Kamryn nodded briefly to Kaitryn. "Thanks," she replied, swiftly leaving the office, closing the door behind her. She leaned her back against it, sighing deeply. THAT had been difficult. She had fought her soulmate connection the entire time she had been in Kaitryn's office.. the longing for her boss had never been as fierce as it had been, it was almost digging in her gut like a dagger. "It will be fixed....soon.." she murmured to herself, running her hands along her neck to take crinks out of it..for a breif flash she imagined Kaitryn's ong slender fingers replacing her own, brushing the tension away. SHe blinked her eyes rapidly and shook her head. "Time for bed.." she muttered, appearing back at her house.

SHe wandered upstairs and entered her room, feeling slightly flushed but otherwise unchanged. "Hey," She greeted Nagi who lay on her bed, she turned and pulled her sweatshirt and t-shirt off, and put her hair up hastily into a disheveled bun. Her back to Nagi, clad only in her bra and underwear her shapely body almost glowed in the dim light of the room, though a sense of tension hung about her that seemed to seep into her toned muscles. SHe turned back with a smile and leapt into bed, literally, landing beside Nagi, her head resting on the tall woman's shoulder. "Sorry I took so long..my boss can be...interesting." She decided to leave the whole..my boss i smy soulmate situation behind her for the moment..and tried to focus on Nagi."

Nagi smiled as Kamryn came in. things were deffinatly going to be interesting for the two of them, but she was prepared for it, she was a demon after all. And things were always....interesting when they were involved. she watched Kamryn as she prepped herself for bed. she truely was amazing, able to pull off looking amazing even in a disheveled state.

as Nagi felt Kamryn's head lay on her soulder she twisted her shoulder slightly and wrapped her arm around her pulling her closer to her. "Its alright, bosses are always a pain." she teased. she ran her hand gently over Kamryn's back as they laid there. it felt good having her there. It was strange feeling as tough you had no control over your destiney yet happy as to where it was leading.

"are you sure it is ok that i stay here tonight? i dont want to impose on you any." it was unusual for her to be so undemanding. normally she would have stayed without permission just because she could. but with Kamryn things were ecoming very evidently different.

"I'm sure." kamryn replied going limp against Nagi as they lay in bed, just wanting to enjoy the feeling of being in her arms. Deep down, her body slightly rejected the touch..her skin craving contact with her current soulamte. She squelched THAT down as fast as she could, not wanting to ruin the moment. To think they had been enemies mere months before, Kamryn kidnapped and held against her will, then suddenly the wanting..the desire to have Nagi.

She did not know Nagi super well yet..but she felt that the demoness was quiet..almost contemplative..which in and of itself was a scary thought. "you ok? You didn't tell me about how your trip to the past went." she said, trying to start conversation, not aware of how profound an affect it had had on Nagi. As Kamryn waited for an answer, a dark shadow flashed in the corner of the room, though Kamryn did not react. Out of the corner of Nagi's eye, she could catch a glimpse of jewels and bones woven in hair, and hear the sound of the bones jingling. Honoka's presence flashed briefly, before vanishing as quickly as it had come.

--------------

Back in Kaitryn's office, the dark shadow appeared, and Honoka appeared before Kaityrn, in all her full glory.. though the two had never met before, Honoka knew about her..and had seen her from afar. "Evening." She said in her deep alto voice. "You and I..have business."

Nagi smiled as she felt Kamryn go limp. she wanted this moment to never end. she laid there contemplating how to answer Kamryn's question. where to start, what to say, how to end it all. "I met someone i had been told had died before i was born. She was unlike any Demon i had ever met, a fiercness that squashed even that of a black eyed demon, yet there was a strange calmness and compassion about her. she said that she was my mother's mother. It was strange. The time i was thrown into was when my mother was a young teen, long before i was born. Seeing her in that capacity was...so......"she trailed off as she caught glimpse of the figure that had appeared in the corner of the room. when she felt the burst of energy that was familiar she sat bolt upright.

"Honoka?!" she called to the corner but it was too late the presence vanished.

_______________________

Kaitryn looked up. she knew of Honoka, knew what she had been capable of, what she had done in history, and even knew who her only child was. But it wwas a shock to her system to have this woman in her office. Her eyes went wide and then returned to normal and she raised a single eyebrow.

"You are Honoka. What do i owe this once in a life time visit?" she knew to keep her words short and not skip around, with this woman you were straight forward or you would not live to see another sunrise.

Kamryn sat up and looked at Nagi. "are you ok?" She asked, a concerned hand resting on her side. "You look like you have just seen a ghost..?" And for all Kamryn knew..maybe she had. They were not an uncommon feature in her house..but Nagi had acted as if the person she had seen was close to her.

__________________

Honoka always appreciated the way Kaitryn held herself, and she admired the steadiness of her voice, and her straight posture..though no dominance play was at present. Good girl.. she thought. "Once in a lifetime..perhaps not. My grandchild needs to grow as a demon..she has been limiting herself. Both of my grandchildren do..this planet has sucked the very essence of their dark powers out of them. They amble around in love with other species.. which..is not a problem..but..when it inhibits them..it is."

She stepped casually around the room, running a hand along Kaitryn's desk. "You are in the perfect position Kaitryn..you are the soulmate of Nagi's chosen. Do not relinquish your hold. Not until the time is right."

Nagi stared at the corner for a few minutes. "I...I thought...i saw someone." she narrowed her eyes at the corner. IF Honoka was here then that meant that she had either changed the past with her presence there or this woman had disappeared not long before she herself was born. If she was here then something was not right and there was going to be some drastic changes or events to come, more than likely ones that would not please her.

"Sorry. Didnt mean to startle you." she turned to Kamryn and smiled before laying back down. she motioned for Kamryn to lay back down with her. but it was apparent her mind was elsewhere suddenly.

___________

Kaitryn leaned back in her chair watching this unusual woman move about her office. "The royal children i take it yuo are talking about. There have been reports of some interesting going ons with both of them. Sector 7 has sent up some disturbing reports. But i have a feeling your visit has nothing to do with the reports but the lack of movement with the two in thier mission, whatever that may be. But why have you chosen to step in now? is not more important tat they be ready to lead and not necissarily what they do regarding thier love lives?" Kaitryn had never dealt with this woman but she knew enough about her that she liked to run things her way and Kaitryn was smart enough to know that if pushed by this woman into something she had better comply.

"Hold onto my link with Kamryn? i can only do so as long as though two do not consumate the destiney they are to share. But if yuo mean to meddle in their affairs please do not make this planet pay for it. we have very little issue with the inhabitants of this world, thus why many of us have come here." she watched the woman's face and movements closely.

"Are you going to tell me the reason you wish for me to hold onto this link she and i share?"

Kamryn did as Nagi said, and laid back down against her, closing her eyes..feeling safe for the first time in..she could not remember.

Honoka smiled with the ease of a predator who knew what she wanted. "It is not your concern little angel.. but it is important. Usually the link would be broken if consummated..but you are special, my dear." Honoka said in her silken voice lounging on Kaitryn's desk the smell of musk, blood and herbs surrounding her. "You are part angel..soulmate links with angels are stronger.. consummation will not break it..you have to release it of your own free will." She narrowed her eyes in thought, rising suddenly form the desk.

"It is the reason you stated..that is why I am here. I have no qualms with this planet..not at all..but time..time has shifted. Keiko was greedy..desiring flesh and love of a person from another time completely..sending my young grandchild back to a time she should have never seen. One soul..but doubled..existing in the same time space fractured the timeline.. there is another dark wizard who also plays at the game of time..there is only so much dark power that can be used at once..you should know this Kaitryn..."

"Only by awakening the black eyed twins fully can balance be restored.. and you..my dear are perfection..balance..an impossibility..the perfect person to hold the reigns over Kamryn Axel..to make Nagi unconsciously strive for power to fully have Kamryn in her grasp.. and only you have the ability to stand up to a black eyed.. though you would deny it." She added with a sly wink, running a nail gently down kaitryn's cheek. "Now play nice, little angel..and help the greater good."

Kaitryn watched Honoka move around her office again, the scents the rolled off of her wer ones that if she found herself in a dark forest or alley and smelled them she would high tial it out of the area. She knew that at the moment this woman had no desire to hurt her, but she wasnt so sure what this woman would do to her once she had completed this woman's wishes. It was the nail on her cheek that made her scowl slightly.

"you wish me to piss off the Heir to the Demon throne?" she was not happy about this. She had left the planet not long after Nagi and her brother had been born. SHe had ran into the child Heir a few times but had never triffled with her. She knew then that the child would one day be a black eyed demon. she sighed

"Honoka, i understand your desire to awaken the children to thier full potential, but you are talking about adding oxygen to fire. Simply because i am part angel should not mean that i must be the one to do so. I have not used my Angelic powers or abilities in hundreds of years Honoka, you sould be able to tell that. You are here, why can't you do it? You are THE Demon Witch. you could easily do this yourself. And i would only be helping with Nagi, what is your plan for Noboyuki?" She leaned back in her chair her hands behind her head watching Honoka.

Honoka smiled wider, she liked Kaitryn..always had. the woman knew how to play..and talked to her as an equal without stepping on her toes the wrong way. "Little Angel.. don't try and hide behind the questions.. bottom line..you WANT Kamryn. I can smell it in your blood.. in fact.. you have had her once.. I still feel shadows of the alternate world you made in here to take her." She pulled her hand away and moved completely atop her desk, laying partially on it to look at her. "Noboyuki is not your concern. Your concern is Kamryn. I know you and Nagi have never really had it with one another.. and believe me..I do not liek putting you in this place..but I cannot force Nagi to become who she is. She needs to push herself..and she will only do that for Kamryn."

Honoka swung her legs over the edge of the desk, they brushed against Kaitryn's as she leaned forward, where they touched it was almsot as if a warm fire was beginning to kindle. "I will not force you to help me.. I am asking you nicely." Her voice was still silky, but a dark power ebbed within it. "Grow some balls, woman. You are not a young inexperienced child. You are a formidable demoness with a power unique unto herself. You are holding yourself back from Kamryn..don't be daft about this." She leaned closer and kissed her atop her head, running her hands through her short hair leisurely.

"You know I would not ask this of you if I could do it myself." She added, looking into her eyes, waiting for a response.

Kaitryn grumbled to herself. she didnt like doing other people's dirty work.she rubbed her face with her hands and then looked back up to meet Honoka's eyes. "ALright...alright..ALRIGHT." she stood up at the touch of the other woman's hand through her hair. yeah she did want Kamryn, yes she knew she was unlike any other demon, at least these she and this woman had something in common, they were the only one of thier kind.

"Fine, 'll push your little princess to her breaking point and beyond, but it wont be so easy to get Kamryn around my finger either. SHe is head over heals for your Princess and nothing is going to change that. and what the hell is with you touching me? you and i dont know eachother on that kind of level Honoka." she narrowed her eyes at the woman. not a battle for dominance or a challenge of any kind, just simply pointing out a fact.

Kaitryn leaned against a wall, arms crossed over her chest and a single foot propped up on the wall under her butt. "yes i claimed her once, but that was a very different time, different situation. I will see what i can do. But i promise you nothing Honoka, only that i will try." she sighed and closed her eyes hanging her head slightly.
